Menopause

I can’t forget to mention the dryness; Dry skin, dry hair, dry eyes, and dry mouth.  These are annoying enough.  Then there’s the decreased vaginal secretions which lead to dryness that really gets uncomfortable.  For many women this leads to painful sexual intercourse as well as urinary tract or vaginal infections.  Fortunately, there are many over the counter remedies that women have known to use for years.  Of course, the infections need medical intervention and counseling on options for prevention.

And with all this, what’s going on with your libido?  With sleep deprivation, irritability, chronic fatigue, muscle and joint aches, bloating, constipation, and a lessening of vaginal secretions who could blame you if it was a bit low?

Well ladies, this is only some of what we may have to look forward to.  Good news is that not everyone has the same experience.  The even better news is that how we experience menopause depends a lot on our individual outlook.  Like most everything attitude can bring gratitude.
